Desktop apps
Claude Desktop

Watch the setup walkthrough:

  1. Turn off model training: Settings → Privacy
  2. Connect your email: Settings → Connectors → Add → Browse connectors, find Gmail or Outlook and follow the instructions there (read + draft permissions)
  3. Settings → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector · Name: Kairis · URL: https://mcp.kairis.tech/mcp · leave everything else empty
  4. Click Add, then click Authorize. A new page opens: enter your license key
  5. Create a Project called Kairis and start a chat in it
  6. Say: "Set up my Kairis email agent and create my profile files."
  7. Setup ends with two small profile files: save them to the Project's knowledge
  8. Say: "Use Kairis to triage my inbox"
  9. Say: "Use Kairis: who should I follow up with today?"
Chat in that Project from now on: every chat starts calibrated. The same setup works on claude.ai in the browser (it follows your account).
ChatGPT Desktop / Codex
  1. On chatgpt.com (web, one-time): turn off model training in Settings → Data Controls, and enable Developer Mode (Settings → Security and login)
  2. Connect your email: go to Plugins (on the home page, not the one in Settings), search for Gmail or Outlook and follow the instructions there (read + draft permissions)
  3. In the app: Settings → Plugins → + Add (top right) → Add MCP server · Name: Kairis · URL: https://mcp.kairis.tech/mcp · Type: Streamable HTTP · Authentication: OAuth · leave everything else empty
  4. A browser window opens: enter your license key and authorize
  5. Create a Project called Kairis and start a chat in it
  6. Say: "Set up my Kairis email agent and create my profile files."
  7. Setup ends with two small profile files: save them to the Project
  8. Say: "Use Kairis to triage my inbox"
  9. Say: "Use Kairis: who should I follow up with today?"
Same flow as chatgpt.com: one setup follows your account. Using Codex? Let it save the profile files in its working folder instead of a Project.

Any other app

For MCP apps without remote-server support, add this bridge to the app's MCP configuration:

{ "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.kairis.tech/mcp"] }

Connected?

1. The first thing to say in your AI app chat:

Set up my Kairis email agent and create my profile files.

2. Kairis will learn about your business and how you write, and it gives you two small profile files at the end. Save them where your AI app keeps knowledge, ideally in a Project called Kairis or a Documents/Kairis folder.

3. If your app supports Projects, paste this into the Project instructions:

For any email task in this project, first load the Kairis email agent tools and follow their instructions for triage, drafting, and labels.

These three steps keep Kairis calibrated and in charge in every future chat. Skipping them is the most common reason Kairis feels inconsistent.

How to use Kairis

Triage your inbox"Use Kairis to triage my inbox."
Draft a reply"Draft a reply to [name] with Kairis."
Chase what went quiet"Use Kairis: who should I follow up with today?"a daily digest: who to nudge, drafts included — you press send
Optional: automate it"Every weekday at 08:00, use Kairis to triage my inbox and give me my follow-up digest."where your AI app supports scheduled tasks

Stuck? 90% of problems are a URL missing /mcp at the end, or a mistyped license key.

Still stuck? Let your AI assistant help

Copy this, paste it to your assistant, and it will walk you through your specific app and error:

I'm trying to connect an MCP server called Kairis to my AI app and I'm stuck. Facts: it's a remote MCP server at https://mcp.kairis.tech/mcp (Streamable HTTP, OAuth 2.1; during login a browser page opens where I paste my Kairis license key). Please: 1) ask me which app I'm using and what step or error I'm on, 2) walk me through adding it there step by step, 3) if there's an error, help me diagnose it. Known gotchas: the URL must end in /mcp; authentication must be OAuth, not API key; ChatGPT needs Developer Mode enabled first (Settings, Security and login); a 401 or "invalid license" means the key is mistyped, expired, or revoked.

Kairis never reads your emails. Your email never touches our servers.
